Why did the price reach my limit order price and the limit order was not filled?

Updated over a week ago

Unlike spot trading, limit orders rely on a counterpart known as a ‘taker’ to fulfill the order. If by the time the price reaches your limit order price the order is not profitable for takers, then they can choose not to fill the limit order.

Alternatively, setting a price during periods of volatility might mean that even if the price was reached, it did not stay at that level long enough for your order to go through.

Thanks to the integration of our Limit Orders with Velora Delta, your order will be available for execution by multiple agents competing to fill it at the desired execution price or with a price improvement.
